Genise Collins Alexandria, VA –
There wasn’t any access to the garage and the website when I rented it did not specify this. This unit is also a 2nd story unit and the website didn’t specify that fact either. The website is now updated with that information.
There aren’t any dressers in the bedrooms and the 2nd queen bedroom did not have access to the closet – it was locked. There was a narrow three shelf bookcase in that bedroom, but it was not wide enough to store adult clothes. There really should be access to the closets in all the bedrooms. There were only 2 small skillets in the kitchen – so don’t plan to make a meal there. There isn’t an iron, but there is an ironing board.
The owner left kids clothes in the closet of the twin bedroom and kids toys in various places in the house. There were lots of shoes left in the closet on the entry level and one pair of shoes was left on the balcony. The owner also left personal items under the sinks in the two bathrooms and left a toothbrush on the counter in the master bathroom. Two of the drawers in the master bathroom were filled with personal items of the owner.
Unfortunately, these items – especially no access to a closet in the one bedroom and no dressers in the bedrooms – along with every other item listed above does not warrent me rating this place any higher than 2 stars. It is a nice area and it was easy to get to the state park, but unless the owner addresses those items, I would not rent this place again.
