Chuck – Southern NJ –

This is a 2 bedroom unit pretty much as advertised and I would have given it a five start rating – the negatives are:
Unit really needs a good and thorough housekeeping – dust ON the cobwebs on the chain/electric cord leading to fixture over dining table (UGH); major layer of dust over the stacked washer / dryer, that tended to blow around when dryer was running (I think electric dryer discharge is partly clogged) – I believe the weekly ‘cleaning’ included in rental covers nothing above eye-level.
Maintenance item – the vertical blinds in living room and master bedroom do not rotate beyond and inch or two to open or close, nor do they fully retract – we did not want to force them – so accepted as is. While not the fault of this unit – I and wife saw water dripping from the upstairs condo into the walkin shower in master bathroom thru the dropped ceiling which had rust stains (obviously wet for some time).
Parking for two under the unit is listed, but for this condo the second spot is no-where near the first and is not underneath the building. While there is free internet, it is limited to TWO devices – darn small number for five adults.
Most of this is fixable – so it really should be a five rating.
The balcony is spacious, the unit is large, we did not feel crowded, it is tastefully furnished, the furniture and bedding are comfortable, all appliances worked including icemaker (thanks previous tenant for turning off icemaker – i recognized it before runnning out of ice).
