This beach cottage is nicely sized and is comfortable. Despite looking small, there is plenty of room for a family or two. The kitchen is updated and clean. The bathrooms are clean and bright. The screened-in porch is very nice on cool mornings to sit and relax. Another plus is the parking permit for downtown; it made parking at the beach much easier and avoids cost of parking fees. To make the stay more accommodating, the owner needs to provide pillows for every bed (there are 9 beds and were only 5 very flat pillows – this shouldn’t be something someone needs to ask for) as well as stocking the kitchen with adequate cooking equipment. There needs to be a complete set of pots (there is no pot larger than a saucepan – can’t easily cook pasta or larger things with only a saucepan) as well as a good set of cutting knives. Please consider providing what one would have in their home for outfitting this rental. Sort of felt like camp cooking with the sub-par cooking equipment that is provided. This should not be the case for the value paid.
Overall, the stay was nice, but missed the mark a little by not providing what should be essential items in the house.
