RENTERS BEWARE! If something breaks in the house while you are staying there, the owner will pass on repair cost to you. A bathroom door knob fell off because of a loose set screw, and we were sent the repair bill. Apparently just your presence in the house makes you guilty of anything going wrong. I’m just glad something major didn’t break down, because we would have been billed for that too! Owner will also bill you for any marks on walls that could easily be washed or painted over. Also, I had to make a request for the return of my security deposit after waiting 5 weeks. Owner made no attempt to contact me. It was eventually returned minus the repair costs. An otherwise great rental was marred by above actions.
