Three Weeks, Zero Complaints, One Return Trip Planned!

We just wrapped up three amazing weeks at this house and are already counting down to next summer. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place was special; beautifully decorated in a beach theme that felt relaxed and coastal without being kitschy or overdone. The space is incredibly generous. Between the two separate sitting areas and the large deck, there was always room to spread out — which mattered for our family of five. Fair warning: the listing photos genuinely undersell how spacious this house is. We were pleasantly surprised the moment we walked through the door. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need, right down to crab mallets — we put those to good use enjoying blue crabs on the deck more than once. Beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, and an outdoor shower were all provided and made beach days completely effortless. The bedrooms were comfortable and the beds were some of the best we’ve slept in at a rental. The location is what really sets this house apart. Park the car and forget about it- the beach and downtown Bethany are both walkable, and a quick drive covers anything else you need, like grocery runs. My son rode the bikes into town for crepes almost every morning, and we spent two of our three weeks comfortably working remotely from the large kitchen table before fully unplugging for beach days during week three. On days we worked, we used the grill to make dinner several nights, and walked into town for too many orange crush! This is a rare rental that actually lives up to, and exceeds, expectations. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back!
