We enjoyed our stay at S.Bethany beach. Very family oriented, quiet and not built up & touristy like the beaches to the north & south of us. The house was great, very well stocked, good size for the 7 of us plus dog, just a short easy walk to the beach & the front porch was great for reading & playing.
Lots to do with 31/2 yr. old – playgrounds, parks, mini golf & some great dog friendly outside dining. The Saturday morning farmers market is worth visiting in addition to the historic town of Lewes, one of the best Italian restaurants.
Only downside, dredging offshore & the beach was a little battered up from the heavy machines but this didn’t keep us from enjoying the beach. Lastly, last two days, the air quality wasn’t the best due to the Canadian wild fires.
Would definitely go back to the cottage next year!
