"Loved location and proximity to the beach and boardwalk. The patio area was perfect for the kids and transferring to beach. When we arrived it was very clean! The unit is outdated but everything works very well. The layout of unit was very convenient for a family and the pull down Murphy bed was perfect so we could have that space during the day but have an extra bed at night. Highly recommend! Will be staying here again.

"Great place for a family to stay. The room was clean and very spacious and the cable package had vast array of options for adults and kids. The furniture and style is a bit dated, however, we loved it! Upon check-in, we were greeted with warm smiles from the diligent and helpful staff. This unit is steps to the boardwalk, but far enough away from the busy section to be quiet. Would recommend for couples or families! We will be back soon!

"My friends and I love the Henlopen's location and the basic design of the building. We were pleasantly surprised by the roominess and privacy of the unit. Although #207 is a bit dated as far as its decor, the place is spacious and is close to beach/shops'restaurants; the kitchen is pretty clean. The guest bathroom and bedding, however, were not clean. Our master bedroom's bedspread had questionable stains on it and was sandy, as were the extra blankets in the closet. The guest bath looks like it has a few decades of crud, so that could have been cleaner. To end on a positive note, though, I love the Henlopen's security and parking, and it is a great place to stay. I want to return in the future, and perhaps book a different unit.
