Great beach getaway

"We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to be repeat renters at 207 Island House. The unit is fantastically maintained both aesthetically and functionally (washer/dryer, dishwasher, two full bathrooms--one with tub which is great for kids). Second story deck looks out onto the beach, gorgeous view to start and end each day at the beach. Even when we had some cooler or rainy days, there are activities at Sea Colony as well as being a short distance from Bethany boardwalk (>5 min), Rehoboth boardwalk and outlets (~25min), or OC boardwalk (~30min).
Over the years, we've rented several different condos within Sea Colony, and 207 Island House is a stand out for comfort, convenience, and welcoming accommodations that keeps us seeking it out specifically for repeat annual beach trips!

Beautiful and convenient

"We love this room! The parking spot is right out front. We have a view of the ocean being up one level (2nd floor). We can easily take the steps down to the 1st floor for convenient beach access. And the room itself is in good condition. We have stayed here twice and plan to stay there next year if available.

Fantastic beach rental, great for families

"207 Island House is an incredible rental. We've stayed at a few different Sea Colony rentals over the years, and 207 Island House is a gem. You can tell the owners continually invest in the property as there is always an upgrade we notice at each subsequent visit. Amenities within the unit are very family friendly (dishes, full bath tub, washer and dryer, and beautifully decorated but without delicate items I need to put in high places to make sure my kids don't play with them).
There's a full, unobstructed view of the beach from the patio, it's located close to one of the outdoor pools as well as an entrance to the beach, and about a mile walk to the Bethany Beach boardwalk. Having a clean, beautiful place to stay each summer is an added bonus to our annual beach trip, and we look forward to returning to 207 Island House in the future!

"Beautiful condo with updated bathrooms, taking a shower with outstanding water pressure was a real treat! Beautiful ocean view. Loved the location, 15 minute walk to town, right across the street from restaurants and Dunkin Donuts. 2 minute walk to the beach. The Sea Colony community is clean and well kept. Designated parking space. All in all, a great vacation property!

Family friendly rental for great week at the beach

"207 Island is a fantastic, family friendly (nice plastic dishes/cups, bathtub, washer/dryer for mid-week load of laundry, comfortable twin beds) property. It’s a shame the second bathroom isn’t pictured because it appeared newly renovated and is a great selling point.
The property is a part of Sea Colony, so we had access to several outdoor and indoor pools, quiet and clean beach, and activities like an outdoor movie and bonfire on the beach. I always felt like my car was safe with designated parking spot and staff monitoring that you had a pass in order to enter. This location is also close to lots of great restaurants and Bethany boardwalk. It’s also a short drive to OC or Rehoboth if you want to go to a bigger boardwalk or do outlet shopping but don’t want to stay in a town with that much non-stop traffic.
We definitely plan on requesting to rent this specific property again, as it was clean, nicely decorated, and had great amenities.

Wonderful vacation

"A beautiful condo with amazing views of the beach and ocean. It was also very well stocked, and it is clear that the owners must like to cook because the kitchen had everything necessary to make meals for the week. The furniture was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the larger living area. Long & Foster was also really great to work with - definitely recommend!

Unique, beautiful condo

"207 Island is a uniquely laid out condo. The combining of the ocean front bedroom space and living area makes for spectacular views, wonderful light and comfortable seating for 8 people. The furniture was lovely and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable. The balcony chairs allowed for an unobstructed view of the ocean. Everything was in good working order and I had no issues at all. Long and Foster was a delight to work with. This was a very last minute trip with some specials needs and Kim and Diane made it happen effortlessly. The staff at Long and Foster are knowledgeable and very friendly. I hope very much to be able to rent from them again.
