"This is the third year we have stayed at this house because of its rooms/beds & location. It is in a quiet little group of homes off the main highway, which means the only traffic is from those staying there. It is a short walk to the beach & a short drive to anywhere you need to go. Kim at Long & Foster was great at locating this property the first year & at answering questions.

"The home had beautiful first floor updates which included an enlarged kitchen and dining area and living room. Furniture was also updated. Additionally, the first floor bathroom was completely redone and a half bath and laundry was added on the first floor. Would love to see updated bathrooms on the top floor as well as some sort of blind/shade on the big triangle window in the bedroom, difficult for light sensitive sleepers. Overall our third year at the Salty Sandpiper and looking forward to next summer.

"The renovated kitchen and extra bath made this home complete for larger families. The updated living room furniture made the evenings and rain days a lot more comfortable for our family. The expanded kitchen and large kitchen table were great for game nights and family meals. The downstairs A/C was down for the first 5 days of our trip, or we would have gladly made this a 5 star review. We have contacted the owners and our confident we will reach an agreement on compensation....so much so we already plan to stay again next year!

"House cleaning prior to arrival was stellar, outdoor furniture a big plus, would recommend refreshing the living room sofas- very low to ground with minimal cushion and has seen its day
Overall a nice rental which is in a beautiful community close to beach
